Axis is looking for a Manager - IT Infrastructure & Facilities, who will be working with Americas management and Lund IT management. This position is responsible for providing overall strategies and execution of tasks related to overseeing the regions client and office infrastructure along with expansion of facilities in the Americas. This position will provide strategic and operational leadership of a variety of infrastructure services, including server, network and telecom operations across 9 regional offices. The IT department within Axis is a truly cross functional department, working very close with all parts of the business. Our responsibility is to provide and maintain a secure, reliable and effective IT infrastructure at Axis. What You'll Do Here... Recruiting, training and coaching IT/Facilities team Manage and oversee help-desk support Establish and manage standard operating processes such as proactive monitoring, incident handling, system maintenance, and disaster recovery to support the implementation of the organization's strategies. Establish IT department goals Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for Investment in IT initiatives and facility expansion. Develop IT/Facilities annual Investment plans and the follow-up timely execution, control and monitoring of the approved investments. Engaging vendors to resolve issues with hardware & software problems Ensure planned projects meet expected results and business objectives Meet with business stakeholders to identify needs & propose solutions Collaboration with departments and employees globally As required ensure that all areas of IT/Facilities activities and processes are in Compliance with Sox, ISO and Export controls. What We Are Looking For... Strong technical background Effective communication skills for large, multi-national audiences. Comprehensive understanding of the complexities in a global IT environment Networking capabilities and strong relationship management Self-motivated and strategic thinking Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously Efficient problem solver and team builder We believe that you have a university degree or similar and that you have several years of working experience as a manager or in a leadership position, in an IT environment. You feel at home in a global, ever changing environment and the complexity that comes with. In addition to that we are looking for someone who is a team player but can work independently if needed. Most important you are an open and driven person with a genuine interest in your job, service minded and communicative. What You'll Need... Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience 5+ years of IT management experience Experience in vendor management, computer operations, network management, technical management and end user support Physical Demands: Employee is occasionally required to lift 0-10 lbs (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions) Travel: 20% maximum requiredSalary Range: NAMinimum Qualification5 - 7 years
