Key Role:. Provide thought leadership and functional expertise in supporting the management of an Acquisition Category (ACAT) I Major Automated Information System (MAIS) program for a DoD Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Lead the development of acquisition documentation and other required reporting. Work on tasks typically of high visibility and work products that inform the most senior executives in the DoD chain of command. Work with DoD IT stakeholders to comprehend applicable policies and requirements. Coordinate with required government activities and contractor personnel to meet project milestones and minimize risk. Develop and implement schedules and monitor those plans to manage resources and mitigate risk. Identify issues, develop recommendations for issue resolution, and escalate status updates to client leadership.. Basic Qualifications:. 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment. 2+ years of experience with working in a DoD Program Management Office in project or program management of large, complex information systems projects requiring development, integration, implementation, and training. Experience with developing and staffing acquisition documentation, including business cases, acquisition strategies, acquisition program baselines (APBs), and Cost Analysis Requirements Descriptions (CARDs) according to DoD 5000.02. Experience with facilitating Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Experience with producing client-ready deliverables and managing enterprise-level projects. Ability to lead a team, work in a team environment, and coordinate tasks with client supervisors. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to obtain a security clearance. BA or BS degree and 14+ years of experience in a professional work environment or MA or MS degree. Additional Qualifications:. Experience with working in an Acquisition Category (ACAT) I program. Experience with the Military Health System. Experience with creating and maintaining project schedules. Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills. Possession of excellent documentation skills. Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification. Completion of Programmatic Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Courses, including DAU Acquisition 101 preferred; DAWIA Level II in ACQ/Program Management or higher a plus. Clearance:.
