This position will be primarily responsible for centralizing and processing procurement requests through their lifecycle from quote to delivery. The IT Procurement Specialist will also track and manage large enterprise software purchases and renewals, and ensure the company??s use of software is legitimate and in compliance with license terms. The ideal candidate is no stranger to negotiation, and looks forward to working directly with vendors on a daily basis. We are also looking for someone with a knack for process optimization and a drive for continuous improvement, who can independently find and fix inefficiencies.Responsibilities:Process IT hardware and software purchase requests from within IT and across the business, including quoting, requisitions, approvals, contracting, order processing, licensing, and delivery.Negotiate enterprise-wide IT supplier contracts, including master agreements, statements of work, and price lists. Interface with Legal to broker terms with vendors.Track and maintain a database of subscriptions and maintenance, and ensure timely renewals.Record and maintain contract and procurement information in a centralized location.Administer named-user license allocation and SaaS subscription portals.Drive cost savings through supplier rationalization, value engineering, re-sourcing, and negotiation.Investigate and resolve billing and delivery issues as required.Perform periodic internal software license compliance audits, true-up analyses, and make purchase recommendations if required.Support vendor-initiated software license compliance audits.Develop and implement process and efficiency improvements across all IT procurement and license compliance functions.Work with acquired companies to align them into Brooks software standards and procurement processes.Qualifications:Bachelor??s degree and 5 years?? experience in a relevant field information technology, supply chain, procurement, or audit. The ideal candidate is very familiar with IT procurement, but significant experience in general procurement will also be considered.Skilled negotiator with fluency in contracts and a strong drive to maximize value.Understanding of software licensing, including geographic restrictions, downgrade and upgrade rights, assignment, and usage monitoring.Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex issues, effectively and with minimal supervision.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, transformative IT environment.Experience creating, documenting, and optimizing business processes.Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes and projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Professional work experience in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)If any applicant is unable to complete an application or respond to a job opening because of a disability, please email at HR.Recruitingbrooks.com for assistance.
