The Talent Management team is responsible for talent planning (performance management, talent and organizational reviews, succession planning and internal movement), employee engagement, leadership development, learning and organization development and effectiveness. The team enables the organization to retain and deploy the best talent to grow our business.***Scope of Role*The Program Manager, Talent Management, will play a vital role in leading execution excellence, continuous improvement and measurement of global and enterprise-wide talent processes and programs. The Program Manager will define objectives, effectively plan and project manage the delivery of these processes and programs, while continuously improving execution and measuring success. Key process execution will include annual performance management, development planning and engagement cycles, while program sustainment may include a variety of initiatives currently in place. The role is also responsible for managing and nurturing our Talent Network of Talent leaders across the business. This role will collaborate closely with the Talent team functional leads, the Talent Council and HR Communications team, as well as being a critical point of contact for our Operating Company HR Teams. Additionally, the Program Manager will be the liaison to our existing Talent process vendors. ***Key Responsibilities* * In partnership with the Talent leads, lead execution excellence of global Talent processes and programs deep into the organization. * Coordinate and project manage the annual calendar of talent processes in partnership with Corporate HR and on behalf of the Talent Management team. * Based on voice of customer, propose continuous improvements to Talent processes and programs, reflecting the latest in internal and external best practices. * In collaboration with the Corporate Communications team, define and develop channels to communicate process and program delivery to key stakeholder audiences and engage in continuous two-way conversation with the HR community. * Train and coach the HR community and others on the deployment and effective execution, measurement and tracking of Talent programs across the organization. * Proactively identify and manage risks and dependencies with stakeholders and work with the appropriate teams to develop mitigation plans and options. * Work closely with the Talent team to identify innovative ways to continue to grow and support the Talent function. **Qualification** *Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * * Project and program management - ability to plan, identify, coordinate and track critical activities, milestones and deliverables with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Process improvement and systems thinking - a track record of utilizing continuous improvement methodology as a business practice. * Influence and negotiation - ability to present ideas effectively, represent the best interests of all stakeholders, guide discussions, shift thinking, enable stakeholders to express concerns and goals, propose best path forward and drive alignment at all levels of the organization, including at the senior levels. * Communications and change management - demonstrated know-how in identifying stakeholder needs and impacts and translating this understanding into effective and compelling communications and change strategies. * Innovative and proactive problem-solving skills -with the ability to exercise integrity and sound judgment in complex and ambiguous situations. * Multinational experience - experience working across cultures and geographies in a highly matrixed, fast-moving global organization. * Superior customer service orientation * Initiative to work independently and within a dynamic team environment. *Education & Experience: * * Bachelor Degree in Business, Human Resources or Communications; Masters preferred. * 5 years professional Human Resources, Marketing, Product Management or Communications experience * 3 years Program/Project Management experience with implementing corporate-wide processes and programs * Demonstrated experience creating and driving clear, effective processes to support outcome delivery **Danaher Corporation Overview** Danaher is a global science & technology innovator committed to helping our customers solve complex challenges and improve quality of life worldwide.
