About the Opportunity We are currently looking for a dynamic, highly entrepreneurial, and knowledgeable blockchain and cryptocurrency Director to add to our growing Blockchain and Cryptocurrency practice. FTIs blockchain and Cryptocurrency practice offers blockchain advisory services and cryptocurrency investigations. To learn more, visit Primary Duties: Support client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services, investigative services, expert reports, and support business development activities at a strategic and tactical level. Translate client requirements into formal agreements, establishing specific solutions/workflows, and lead the efforts that culminate in client acceptance of the results. Develop each clients blockchain solution, excel at project consulting and management, deliver product selection and implementation, and achieve outstanding implementation results. Responsible for contractual cost estimation, budget adherence, schedule creation, timeline management, and other deliverables. Manage resources and co-ordinate client resources to deliver services and solutions to support the client organization and the program. Working with Blockchain & Cryptocurrency team, Information Governance, Privacy & Security team and other segments within the firm to lead specific use-case development of Blockchain innovation for our clients. Work closely with leadership to significantly contribute to thought-leadership initiatives, go to market strategies, sales efforts, and other practice development activities. Relevant Experience: Deep working knowledge of distributed ledger technologies, blockchain based systems, and various forms of cryptocurrencies. Expertise with AWS Dashboard, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Smart Contracts required. Investigative experience required, whether specific to cryptocurrencies or other digital forensic activities. Ability to support business development activities with an emerging technology in a highly dynamic environment, understanding business challenges, explain our offerings and services to provide value and identify opportunities for differentiated offerings based on distributed ledger technology. Proven story-telling ability to explain blockchain outcomes and results in context of the business and/or industry to make it actionable. Successful hands-on full-lifecycle project experience with software deployment and implementation a plus. Ability to identify clients high-level business needs to lead the creation of detailed use cases and functional specs. Experience working within consulting and/or Fortune 500 companies. Desired Skills: Knowledge of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies evolution including: applicability in enterprise business, key limitations in system implementations, future enterprise potential, solid understanding of building and measuring via a proof of concepts, end state enterprise architecture, business integration, change management, and various software solutions for DLT deployment. Strong understanding of industry leading blockchain protocols and platforms. Outstanding at written and speaking skills; must be able to write official reports, forensic reports, and demonstrate an ability to convey the complexity of blockchain and cryptocurrencies in easy-to-understand ways. Experience in building high-performing teams in an accelerated growth environment. Hands-on experience with blockchain architecture and development, including AWS, Corda, Hyperledger Fabric, and Solidity for smart contracts. Understanding of development in DLT including Node.js, Go, Composer, web3.js, Geth, Corda, Solidity, etc.) is a plus. Familiarity with basic cryptography and P2P networks.
