Job Description

This position is for an Associate Systems Operations Analyst within Lockheed Martin (LM) Enterprise IT (formerly EBS) Analytics Center of Excellence (ACE) supporting the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Information Technology (IT) Applications organization

Typical Duties include:

Analyzing, troubleshooting, resolving, and monitoring issues for analytics and reporting systems for the organization (including batch job scheduling)

Planning, implementing, controlling, and documenting enhancements to support and operations processes

Developing and adhering to data governance policies, standards, procedures, tools, and technologies

Engaging vendors, internal customers, enterprise resources (i.e. Developers, Database Administrators, Security Engineers, Infrastructure team, etc.) and team members

Coordinating and executing the implementation of software releases, upgrades, and scheduled Operation & Maintenance (O&M)

Assisting the team in managing incident and change request tickets, and interacting with the user community to assist with a variety of technical problems

Planning and performing environmental and platform performance monitoring

U.S. Citizenship Required

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

Ability to operate in interactive local and virtual team environments

Understanding and strong interest in data warehousing, data analytics, big data and data science tools, technologies, platforms, and principles

Basic understanding of information system support and operations activities including incident and change management including the development of and adherence to change management processes

Familiarity with modern data visualization and dashboarding tools and other Business Intelligence products

Ability to estimate work tasks and work assignments

Willingness to gaining experience and understanding of full life cycle development and sustainment activities, leveraging a disciplined engineering process for both implementation as well as Operations and Maintenance

Ability to closely follow instructions as a support and operations team member

Ability to assist in and lead organized and data-driven approaches to solving problems

Ability to manage priorities

Tendency to be a self-starter and have willingness to pursue skill growth opportunities

Ability to interact with internal and external customers and ability to build relationships
