Telecom and Technology is the IT Services division within NCR providing Customer Solutions across the globe. We design and deliver global field and managed services include enterprise networking, cloud networks (SD-WAN), wireless, unified communications and workplace services. We offer a flexible working environment with a mix of home working, onsite customer meetings, excellent office facilities and the use of collaborative technology. This is a great opportunity to join NCR at a time of further investment in our Telecom and Technology division. This global role will be focused on presales leadership for one of our largest global accounts - AT&T. This role is about setting the strategy for presales for this major account, developing a high-performance team, a great team culture, drive innovation and deliver an excellent customer experience. Key topics include SDN, NFV, SD-WAN and managed services. Essential Criteria Strategic thought leader in presales for global services and partnerships particularly in the telco market Experience in managing teams of presales architects or similar professionals either directly or in a virtual / matrix model Experience working with teams across the globe including different cultures Customer facing experience leading in large scale (major deals) global service design including presales, commercial and contract expertise - so as a senior manager you can understand how the team works and how it can improve Can produce and present executive level reports and trends to demonstrate team performance and any investments required Experienced in managing performance and career development conversations with team members to help people achieve their best Passionate about employee satisfaction and work life balance Strong experience in influencing and helping team members adapt and grow in a fast-moving industry Clearly understands and can demonstrate how to drive an excellent customer experience through your team and as an individual contributor Can develop training and coaching plans for teams both on the job and external formal accreditation Can drive continual improvement initiatives to deliver better team results and ensure we create highly repeatable processes and content Deep understanding of the challenges associated with global managed services and ITIL Experience in global field services, large scale projects and ongoing support services Understanding of cloud and digital concepts with an interest in market trends Understanding of ITSM and remote monitoring toolsets Can explain the business value of managed services at customer executive level and coach the team to deliver these presentations and discussions Can demonstrate making decisions on challenging and complex priorities Provide senior leadership and be a decision maker on qualifying new opportunities, managing sales and customer expectations on what we can deliver and how we can stretch into new capability areas Can demonstrate working with product and marketing groups to provide insight for new products and services Can gain external customer and internal executive stakeholder trust quickly Experience of challenging your team to deliver the best partner strategy Deep understanding of contracting models including master service agreements, statements of work, adoption agreements and service levels Ensure the team delivers a well-defined set of service design documents in a timely manner presenting an end to end seamless service Manage approvals from different senior stakeholders in the business for example finance, legal, delivery and operations Review and coach the team on preparing operations and bid review presentations to help internal stakeholders make decisions on complex deals Maintain informal and formal relationships with key senior stakeholders across the business to make decision making straightforward by gaining high trust Comfortable delivering presentations to senior customers including C-level in a meeting or boardroom scenario Strong leadership qualities, willing to share ideas and coach other people A can do attitude putting the customer first Willing to speak up and challenge the norm Inspire our customers about how NCR can benefit and enable their business Excellent interpersonal skills to help with communication and negotiation internally and externally Excellent written and presentation skills ITIL3 foundation certification or relevant experience Desirable Criteria A technical and/or operations background is highly desirable with experience in one or more of the following areas: enterprise networking, cloud networks e.g. SDWAN, enterprise networks, wireless, unified communications Additional ITIL3 or ITIL4 certification TOGAF accreditation and/or similar experience Experience with ISO27001 or similar security accreditation May have one or more other industry recognized certifications such as PRINCE2, and/or technical accreditations e.g. Cisco or similar This role will include an attractive salary, a bonus scheme, a range of company benefits and participation in senior leadership programmes and training EEO Statement Integrated into our shared values is NCRs commitment to diversity.
