ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The Project Manager works closely with the Regional Services leadership team and other teams within Salesforce to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the client engagement. You will be directly responsible for the successful execution of one or more client engagements.

The Project Manager will accomplish these responsibilities by becoming deeply embedded in the client's business and processes, so as to become a subject matter expert on the client's needs. Project management requires frequent communications with and on behalf of the client - sometimes at an executive level - to scope new pieces of work, direct projects, manage client expectations, escalate risks, and report on performance.

YOUR IMPACT - Responsibilities

  • Work with executive decision makers and functional consultants to deliver customer success and help our customers achieve business value.

  • Have a working understanding of your customers business objectives, industry best practices and strategic vision to drive all projects within the program

  • Proactively build business relationships that enable us to support, develop, pursue, and win business which delivers mutual value.

  • Direct the evolution of the program through continuous risk and optimization assessments.

  • Oversee teams executing work on behalf of the program to ensure successful completion of deliverables.

  • Manage the program's Services budget, and analyze the overall profitability of the account.

  • Ensure statements of work properly align Salesforce Marketing Cloud's products and services with the client's business and technology needs.

  • Manage the client services team including Project, Campaign, Technical and Marketing Consultants.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four-year degree is required

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in consulting and project management within the email marketing space is required

  • Intense customer focus

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • High technical aptitude

  • Deep analytical and business acumen

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Proven ability to compel unity and productivity in a team

  • Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills

  • Flexibility to travel up to 25-50%

  • Experience managing client service teams and personnel

  • Past experience with defining specifications and requirements (business and/or technical) using a structured methodology

  • Project management experience, including creation of project plans, project schedules and associated project materials

  • Experience as an executive-level digital marketing expert is a plus

  • Excellent skills in presentation, communication and senior leadership engagements, including the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • PMP Certified

  • Certified Agile Practitioner

  • Extensive experience leading multi-million dollar engagements in highly complex business and technical environments

  • Proven track record delivering in high profile - high risk business solutions - in multiple domains of expertise, Retail, Fins, HLS, B2C, B2B

  • Salesforce Certified Admin, MC Specialist, Sales Cloud Consultant, Srvcs Consultant

  • Experience as a services leader within large consulting organization

  • Excellent skills in presentation, communication and senior leadership engagements, including the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
