SigNet is seeking a technically competent candidate to serve in the position of Site Lead-System Administrator, Level III. The position will work at the Department of Justice - Main Justice Building located at 950 Pennsylvania Ave, NW Washington, D.C. Along with the servicing of the Main Justice Building there will be ten (10) other locations.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
The candidate will act as the central point of contact with the customer. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for the following:
1. Ensure compliance with Federal rules and regulations; and has the full authority to negotiate and make binding decisions for the company.
2. Operate and maintain the existing DOJ access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems and equipment distributed across DOJ facilities within the National Capitol Region.
3. Serve as onsite supervisor for the three assigned technicians under this task order in the performance of their duties and responsibilities.
4. Adhere to all comprehensive daily system checklist provided by DOJ that will be used by the candidate who will fully check the operation of both the ACS/IDS/CCTV systems at each location at the beginning of each shift.
5. Maintain a baseline configuration of both the ACS/IDS and CCTV systems which will be maintained from the configuration items that describe both the ACS/IDS and CCTV systems.
6. Keep the ACS/IDS and CCTV Configuration Management Plan up to date at all times through coordination with the COR.
7. Provide programming, installation, and support services for system expansions and upgrades. Add, change, update, remove devices, events, and schedules to the MDI/CCURE/CCTV applications and databases as needed.
8. Maintain a current list of all user profiles and passwords.
9. Maintain CISCO switch network throughout all DOJ locations that have CISCO switches.
10. Maintain AEGIS test bed equipment that is used to test patches, new software and equipment before applying to the live ACS/IDS/CCTV systems.
11. Perform tests of all backups and systems to include the Disaster recovery servers and systems as determined by DOJ.
Availability:
The candidate will be on-site from 6:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday thru Friday, except for the 13 federal holidays and vacations. The work day shall include a 1 hour lunch period, which will be flexible according to the daily events or as dictated by DOJ. The candidate will be available to respond to emergency trouble calls at nights and on weekends.
Qualifications
Five (5) years of electronic security systems with verifiable experience with Microsoft 2003 Server or higher, experience in operations and maintenance of video systems and CCTV, current Windows operating systems, MS SQL database applications, MDI/Software House hardware and software, Bosch CCTV, video matrix switcher based equipment and American Dynamics CCTV video based equipment, and a strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
In addition, the candidate needs to have an IT background and experience performing basic trouble shooting and basic maintenance of other systems, i.e., gate arms, security portals, turnstiles, bollards, A+ PC I Hardware repair experience.
