Job Overview:

The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) websites, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. Build and shape an end-to-end consumer experience through creation of page layouts, website styling, checkout optimizations as well as advanced features and functionality for mobile. Work closely with designers to ensure the final product adheres to the predetermined budget, scope, and design. Will manage QA analyst in an effort to continue to regression test every site release along with ongoing peak-traffic maintenance timeframes in partnership with third-party hosting provider.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Build Products Using HTML/CSS/JS and Other Front-End Technologies

Design and develop web applications, web APIs and web services

Code, deploy and maintain applications in a Cross-Platform, Cross-Browser Environment

Have significant experience architecting and shipping performant, cross-browser, responsive, customer-facing, e-Commerce solutions

Building User Interfaces and Prototypes from Wireframes and Designs

Analyze and implement Debugging Tools for Cross-Browser Issues

Follow and Implement Industry Accepted Best Practices and Tools

Update Current Websites to Meet Modern Web/mobile Standards

Understand ADA website compliance rules

Employ best practices for designing scalable, extensible and secure applications

Work with business analysts to understand and refine requirements.

Participate in code reviews, and emphasize code quality and testing in all your work

Partner with technology team on enterprise wide code release schedules.

Mentor other team members

Independently manage assigned tasks

Ensure that all new solutions are scalable and yield to high architectural standards

Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc ..) is needed to be successful in this position.

Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.

Qualifications:

Demandware/SFCC Certification required

Proficient in Google Analytics to understand user experience and web optimizations

Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent work experience with numerous years of coding both websites and web applications is strongly desired

Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.

A solid grasp of graphic design, and exceptional time management capabilities.

Must be able to troubleshoot issues quickly and to stay up-to-date on current and emerging technologies, standards, and trends.

Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.

Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
